Bianchi qualifies in the wet

Along with the Formula 1 circus, the GP2 series also made the trip to Monaco for the second round of their season on the totally unique and most famous track on the F1 feeder series calendar. At the end of qualifying, which has just finished, the reigning Formula 3 Euro Series champion and young hopeful of the Ferrari Driver Academy, Jules Bianchi, set the sixth fastest time in 1.39.146 at the wheel of one of the two cars entered by Art Grand Prix. Coming out on top in the wet session was the Racing Engineering team driver, Dani Clos (1.37.572) followed by Sergio Perez (1.37.605) in the Barwa Addax Team car and Rappax driver, Pastor Maldonaldo (1.38.512.) Frenchman Bianchi's first race is scheduled for tomorrow at 11.15.
