The 21-year-old from Southwater secured two points finishes at the last event at Monza, including an excellent podium in Sunday’s Sprint Race – his third of the season to add to his win at Monaco and top three finish at Silverstone.

He hopes that momentum will carry through to rounds 23 and 24 this weekend to round off a successful second season in the F1 feeder-series. “I can’t wait for Singapore,” said Jolyon.

“The track is new for everyone and so getting up to speed quickly will be crucial. I have been quick on street circuits this year so hopefully that will translate into good results this weekend but it is an unknown for everybody.

The race will be tough as humidity and temperatures will both be high and unlike F1, we are racing in the heat of the day but I am looking forward to the challenge.”
