FDA- Two great fight backs

Istanbul, 30 May 2010 -- Sunday in Istanbul helped restore some confidence in the minds of the young talent of the Ferrari Driver Academy, tackling the second and third rounds of the two junior formulae, taking place at Istanbul Speed Park, alongside the seventh round of the Formula 1 World Championship. Jules Bianchi was competing in the second GP2 race and finished thirteenth, the young Frenchman making up no less than ten places from his starting position, at the wheel of one of the two Art Grand Prix cars. Racing Engineering's Dani Clos took the win in the second race, followed home by Luis Razia (Rapax) and Giedo Van der Garde (Barwa Addax Team.) In the event for the youngsters in GP3, Mirko Bortolotti also staged a great climb up the order. Having started from the back, the Italian Addax Team driver came home twelfth in a race that went to Ryo Haryanto (Manor Racing,) ahead of Miki Monras (MW Arden) and Alexander Rossi (Art Grand Prix.)

Both series will be back on track over the weekend of 27 June at the Valencia street circuit, when the Formula 1 World Championship runners will also be competing in their ninth round of the season.
