Premat on the podium in Turkey

Saturday, 26 August 2006: "To finish third and on the podium in the Turkish Grand Prix GP2 race is a great achievement I can be proud of. It wasn 't an easy race, but I had a real good start was in second position right away.

I almost took a gamble and thought I would try to pass Nelson Piquet Jr (BRA) - Piquet Sports, but I played it safe just in case. Right away on the hot track surface, we had excellent grip but the car was difficult to drive until my first early pitstop. Then we changed the tyres and the car was better. I had two good fights, overtaking Petrov, DPR, and Tahinci, FMS International, and had good fun all the way through the 34 laps of the race.

Overall, I am pleased with the result because I collect more points for the championship and now have 58 points to my name. Tomorrow I'll be looking to make a strong start again leaving in fifth position as the grid is reversed, and hope for more points. I want to be again on the podium."
