Trident Racing ended a bad event today at Budapest.

In the second race of the weekend, Kohei Hirate clinched 10th place, while Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado had to retire after making contact with Bruno Senna at lap 10.

Alessandro Alunni Bravi (Team Principal)

"The performance offered by both drivers were beyond expectation, for two different reasons. Kohei Hirate just wasn`t aggressive enough; despite running stronger than many drivers in front of him, he couldn`t make a decisive pass, while Pastor Maldonado failed to control his nerves during his on-track confrontations with Senna".

Pastor Maldonado - DNF

"The start was very positive, as I recovered several positions before coming behind Bruno Senna. At the first attempt I made to pass him, he shut the door, forcing me off-track. Then, after getting him again, he did the same thing; we touched and I had to retire".

Kohei Hirate - 10

"I had a good start, but I was suddenly forced to lift the throttle by a stalled car, losing positions. I tried to avoid any risk in a contact-filled first lap, starting to push when everything became safer. Unfortunately, in the second half of the race I started having oversteer problems; at that point, I focused on ending the race with no mistakes".
