The young hopefuls take to the track at Hockenheim Hockenheim, 23 July 2010 -- Two weeks after the previous round, held at Silverstone, the two junior series are back in action alongside the Formula 1 World Championship at Germany's Hockenheim circuit for what is the sixth round of the GP2 series and the fifth for the GP3 competitors.

In GP2, Charles Pic took pole position in qualifying in a time of 1.41.638, ahead of Pastor Maldonado (1.41.906) and Oliver Turvey (1.42.023.) Art Grand Prix's Jules Bianchi, finished ninth, the Ferrari Driver Academy student completing 15 laps, the best in 1.43.008, which means he will start tomorrow's first race, which gets underway at 15.40, from the fifth row of the grid. In GP3, another Ferrari Driver Academy member, Mirko Bortolotti took to the track for free practice, which saw Daniel Morad come out on top in 1.44.682, followed by James Jakes (1.44.702) and Oliver Oakes (1.44.773.)
