HOCKENHEIM - A disappointing race week-end for Coloni Motorsport at Hockenheimring. Gimmi Bruni and Mathias Lauda did not score any point after two very difficult races.

In the Saturday Race 1 Bruni has been damaged by a contact during the first lap: Jani touched the Italian driver on the rear at the Hairpin and broke his Dallara's rear right suspension. Bruni was forced to come back to the pit for repairing the suspension and rejoined the track after many laps. Bruni finished the race but has not been classified because he did not complete the ninety per cent of the race laps.

In the Sunday Race 2 Bruni started sixteenth, but at the first two corners has been touched by two competitors and lost time. He suffered as well some over steer problem in the second part of the race and finished only fifteenth a very troubled week- end.

Lauda finished fifteenth in the Race 1 and was not able to battle for the points positions. In Race 2 the Austrian driver took the twenty-second position and was very disappointed for this week-end results.

Coloni Motorsport is looking forward to being in Hungaroring next week and to improving its performances.
