HOCKENHEIM - Coloni Motorsport's drivers Gimmi Bruni and Mathias Lauda will start respectively in 7th and 11th row on the starting grid for tomorrow Race 1 at Hockenheimring. Bruni and Lauda were satisfied about the car set-up and only two problem did not allow to the Coloni Motorsport's drivers to join a better position.

In fact, Bruni was fourth after free practice session and was very confident about qualifying, but during his fast lap has been stopping from yellow flag in the last sector due to an incident involving Pla and has been forced to abort his attempt on new tyres. But the 24-years old Italian driver is only fourth tenth off the first rows on the grid and Bruni is determined to drive an aggressive race and to achieve a good result.

Mathias Lauda has been damaged by traffic problem during his fast lap on new tyres. The Austrian driver, anyway, was confident about car's performance, especially in race condition. Lauda is looking forward to improving his starting position during the Race 1.

Paolo Coloni - Team principal: "Both cars was performing well and the drivers were happy about the set-up. On the other side, I am extremely surprised to see such incredible fast times scored by the top three cars: It was not so usual to see in a mono- formula such large gap between the top three and the rest of the field: in the first six races the gap between all the drivers has been reasonable. I am sure that the team result today were good in term of car's performance and we hopefully find a reasonable reason for this gap."
