Historic win on Race 2 in Monaco for Stefano Coletti
The Sprint Race ended today an unforgettable weekend for Stefano Coletti in Monaco as he obtained a fantastic victory on the home circuit during a race that has also been important classification-wise.

Team Rapax driver started from the third spot of the grid behind Quaife-Hobbs (MP Motorsport) and Binder (Venezuela GP Lazarus). As always, Coletti's start has been perfect and allowed him to get out of the Sainte Devote in P2.
After a couple of study laps he moved the decisive attack to Quaife-Hobbs and obtained the lead of the race.The young Monegasque pushed hard to obtain also the two points awarded to the fastest lap of the race of the top ten drivers; mission accomplished at lap eight (1'22.853).
The front positions did not change until the flag that placed Coletti in the history of the race as he has been the second Monegasque to win on the Principality circuit 83 years after the first win of Louis Chiron. Quaife-Hobbs ended the race in second position followed by Evans (Arden International).
The victory obtained today strengthened further Coletti's classification lead; Stefano now stands at 120 points with a scoreboard featuring 3 wins, 3 podiums, 1 pole position and 3 fastest laps of the race in the four rounds run so far. Nasr (Dams) follows at 96 and Bird (Russian Time) is in third at 58.
Stefano Coletti: "This has been quite an intense weekend. It started a bit steep with qualifying on Thursday while it ended in the best possible way with the victory obtained today. Winning in Monaco is a dream came true in a season where everything is falling into place thanks also to the commitment and the hard work of the whole Team Rapax.
The car was perfect today and it allowed me to attack Quaife-Hobbs without taking too many risks; with clean track I could push hard to get the fastest lap keeping the concentration high to avoid every mistake.
