Trident Racing completed their trip to the Nurburgring by scoring the 15th place in Race 2 with Nathanael Berthon.
The team's other driver, Kevin Ceccon, was prevented from lining-up at the start due to the neck pain resulting from his early Race 1 crash. All the Trident Racing stable wish Kevin a prompt return to full shape. As the back-to-back run between Britain and Germany in two consecutive weekends, the GP2 Series schedule will provide all teams and drivers with an additional break. Round seven of the 2013 season is scheduled between July 26th and 28th at Budapest.
Nathanael Berthon: “Even though today's result isn't particularly brilliant, I found myself well suited by the modifications we made on the car. I found it very well driveable and I managed to score laptimes comparable with the ones set by the frontrunners.
Unfortunately, starting from the second half of the grid means it's very difficult to end up into the points, especially on a racetrack like this where there isn't a lot of room for passing.
I managed the safety-car situation well but once again I was hit from behind, spinning and losing loads of time.
It doesn't sound good to blame your colleagues but many times the work of the whole team was ruined by some very avoidable mistakes. It's frustrating.”.
