Durango and Fairuz Fauzy uphold top positions. Positive debut for Marco Bonanomi

After the second and last test held at Le Castellet, Fauzy and Durango confirmed themselves to be very competitive, achieving the fourth time both in the morning and afternoon sessions. Bonanomi made a very positive debut and proved that he is able to compete at top level in GP2.

We've finally refound Durango both in the results and enthusiasm. We've worked solidly but with a smile over these two days. A good frame of mind and positive energy, coupled with good clocked times on the track throughout the test, have partly repaid us for what has been a stressful season.

I must say that Fauzy has been a welcomed surprise and his consistent performance on all track conditions has really impressed me. With both old and new tyres and on all of his runs Fairuz has always been amongst the fastest four drivers on the track, this obviously makes me very happy.

I'm also really satisfied with Marco Bonanomi's work and commitment, he's fully shown himself to be a good driver who is constantly able to stay amongst the top ten in the ranking, despite being plagued with a small physical problem on the second day.
