The Monegasque driving for team Rapax started today from the seventh spot of the gird due to the Series' partial grid inversion and has centered once again a stunning start that allowed him to gain four positions straight away and to slot in at the back of the two drivers of Russian Time, Sam Bird and Tom Dillmann.

A few laps later Coletti moved a successful attack to the Frenchman and got the second place with a gap that stabilized to three seconds in the following laps.

The final stages saw the pair on top getting closer followed by Felipe Nasr (Carlin), who in turn recovered up to the third place.

With one lap to go all three front-runners were within a bit more than a second. Stefano Coletti at that point tried to attack for the win but he locked up and therefore compromised the efficiency of the front left tyre of his Dallara.

This forced him to slow his rhythm down and to give away his position while still getting a comfortable and very important third place especially considering the ninth position of of his closest rival in the title quest, Fabio Leimer (Racing Engineering).

Coletti keeps a solitary lead of the classification with 64 points with Leimer following at 54 and Nasr at 48.

Stefano Coletti: "This has been a very positive weekend and one where we met all our targets thanks to the great work done by the whole team.

Championship-wise it was really important to finish both races in the top three and we managed to do this while keeping a good classification lead. If it were not for the locking up I could have probably aimed to the victory today but thinking of the championship the podium is still perfect too".
