The Portuguese Ocean Racing Technology team is contesting the 2009 GP2 Championship with drivers Alvaro Parente and Karun Chandhok, obtaining their first podium last weekend at Silverstone thanks to the Indian driver. Despite its youth, the team has always been competitive on the stairway to Formula One and as such has already started collecting its first trophies.
Director of Clasus, Jose Santos, attended the recent Silverstone races where he witnessed the expertise of the Portuguese team. As a result his company, which operates in the technology market for Education and Health by exploiting advanced processes, decided to join Ocean Racing technology for a new and innovative partnership.
Clasus is a Portuguese company which is represented in 40 countries and was founded back in 2002. Penetrating the market five years ago, the aim is to provide their partners with the best technological, educational and ergonomic advancements, such as interactive whiteboards.
