Only twenty laps

For both Trident Racing drivers the Barcelona feature race lasted only twenty laps. After a great start, the two had to retire just after their pit-stop, while standing in the point positions. Andreas Zuber stopped on the gravel because he was loosing the left rear wheel. Gimmi Bruni had too long pit-stop because of the failure of a wheelgun. Back to the track he tried to recover the gap when, trying to overtake Lopez who slammed the door in front of him, Gimmi finished his race out of track.

Maurizio Salvadori - Team Principal

"Yesterday we were happy with the second row but then we have been penalized because of the yellow flag issue. The team did not lost the right attitude and we were doing a good job during the race when a problem with a wheelgun compromised our drivers' pitstops. Today simply has not been our day. Tomorrow we will see what we could do but starting from the back it will be hard. Let's hope luck will be smiling at us in Montecarlo".
