Lost wheel plagues season finale for Edoardo Piscopo

After fighting hard and winning 8th spot on Race 1 at Al Sakhir, a loose wheel stopped Edoardo Piscopo from taking off from Race 2's pole.

The debut season of Edoardo Piscopo in the GP2 Asia Series ended with a massive shot of bad luck in Bahrain. Set to start from the pole on the upgraded Bahrain racetrack, Piscopo saw any hope of a top spot vanish before the green flag even came out when a rear wheel detached on the way to the starting grid.

The pole spot could have definitely brought a chance to fight for podium but then, before getting to the grid, I suddenly lost a wheel and that was pretty much it..."
