MORTARA ENTERS IN GP2 ASIA THIS WEEK END

Formula 3 Euroseries runner-up Edoardo Mortara is to compete in the GP2 Asia Series with Arden this week end. Mortara will make his GP2 debut in this weekend's Sakhir race, but he will no longer be managed by Quadra Sports: the company that has looked after his career since he graduated from karts to cars three years ago. In that time Mortara claimed the Italian Formula Renault rookie title in 2006, the Formula 3 Euroseries rookie title in 2007, and the Formula 3 Euroseries runner-up spot in 2008.

Ange Pasquali, the managing director of Quadra Sports, commented: "We have enjoyed an excellent collaboration with Edoardo over the course of our association, and we all wish him the very best of luck for the future. I would like to think that his achievements in the past have underlined the useful work we have done together, and we look forward to seeing him succeed in the seasons to come."

Edoardo Mortara added: "I'd like to sincerely thank Ange Pasquali and Quadra Sports for everything they have done for me over the years, which has formed a vital part of getting me to where I am now. Quadra Sports has proved to be an excellent stepping stone for my career, thanks to the company's hard work, professionalism and attention to detail."
