ARDEN TO TEST 5 DRIVERS IN PAUL RICARD
Arden confirm five drivers for this weeks' Test at the Paul Ricard circuit in the South of France. Continuing the assessment process for the 2010 Championship, Arden have selected their GP2 Asia 2008/9 driver Luiz Razia, Esteban Gutierrez, Sam Bird, Marcus Ericsson and Jake Rosenzweig for next weeks session.
Luiz Razia returns to the Arden seat for the first time since April having raced with FMS Coloni during the GP2 Main Season this year. He has recently joined Campos for the GP2 Asia 2009/10 Championship. Esteban Gutierrez finished 9th in F3 Euroseries this year racing for ART Grand Prix and has already had some time in the GP2 car during his test in Jerez last month with his team. Sam Bird joined Esteban in Jerez last month testing the GP2 car, a similar step from F3 Euroseries where he finished in 8th place. Sam is also signed up for the GP2 Asia 2009/10 Championship with ART Grand Prix. Sam's GP2 Asia team-mate Marcus Ericsson who comes from British F3 where he finished in 11th place, is no stranger to the GP2 car having undertaken testing last month in Jerez. Jake Rosenzweig completed this year with Carlin Motorsport in F3 Euroseries where he finished in 17th place.
