The nomination for GP2 in Bahrain was once more an even more extreme selection than the compounds chosen for Formula One.

The result of the two races is very positive, especially for Jolyon Palmer.

Jolyon Palmer: "In the second race I had Leimer on the inside and Rossi on the outside and I was just sandwiched between them..."
After also taking points for pole position and for setting fastest lap in both races, Jolyon holds a 10 point advantage over nearest rival Julian Leal.
