Motorsport.com editors and writers watch nearly every lap of competition from around the world every weekend, and will today start a new feature where we highlight what we feel are the top moments of the weekend – along with some of the brain fades that are just as prevalent in auto racing.

We hope you enjoy the third installment of Trophies and Trailers

Trophies to the Drivers and Teams of the IZOD Indy Car Series for a caution-free street race in Edmonton yesterday – the first one on a street or road course since Sebastien Bourdais won at Portland in June of 2007.

Trophies for the quote of the weekend from Bobby Rahal during the Edmonton Indy broadcast on NBC Sports Network. When asked about his driver Takuma Sato’s chances to pass Helio Castroneves for the lead, Rahal replied. “It’ll be tough, (Castroneves) starts blocking when he picks up his rental car at the airport.”

Trailer Sebastien Vettel can’t be faulted for making a move with his last lap pass of Button at Hockenheim – but the points he gave away for making the move may come back to haunt him.

Trophies Lucas Luhr for overcoming an obviously-injured ankle to run to a partner Klaus Graf to an overall ALMS victory at Mosport.

Trophies To James Buescher and his Turner Motorsport from coming from 2 laps down after having to change the carburetor on their truck to win the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Chicagoland.

Trailers Many things can cause a team to fail post-race inspection. An engine not shutting off when the ALMS blocks the air, is one of them. Flying Lizards found that out the hard way at Mosport.

Trophies to the Indy Lights teams, as it is not often that they have pitstops, much less to change from wet to dry tires. They did just that at Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Saturday. Carlos Muñoz managed the change the best and took his maiden series win by eight seconds

Trailers to the NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle duo of Hector Arana and Hector Jr. The pair of Buell pilots have dominated qualifying for much of the season and have yet to make it happen on Sunday. Yesterday despite qualifying 1-2, neither Arana made it to the final, and have watched Harley-Davidson win all seven events this season.
