PRI Trade Show -- World's Largest Racing Trade Show -- And More!
Wide Ranging Motorsports Business Seminars Offered
LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. -- The PRI Trade Show is best-known as the world's largest racing trade show -- with more than 1,000 companies and 3,000 booths catering to the needs of nearly 40,000 attending buyers from all 50 states, and 65 countries.
Yet, some may find what's behind the scenes to be almost as beneficial to their racing and development efforts. This year's PRI Trade Show currently has 39 seminars and events being run in conjunction with the event in a variety of areas designed to benefit almost every facet of the industry.
"The PRI Trade Show is all about racing -- whether it's assisting race track medical crews, race engine builders or parts retailers, to perform better," said Steve Lewis, PRI Trade Show producer. "Our goal is to provide not only the hardware to be successful in their racing businesses, but the knowledge as well." Among the largest events to be found on the schedule in Orlando during PRI Week are the International Council of Motorsport Sciences Annual Congress as one of the premier race safety organizations in the world, and the Advanced Engineering Technology Conference each will run prior to the opening of this year's show.
In addition to those organizations running events in conjunction with the show, the PRI Trade Show also presents a number of seminars directly to attendees at no cost. Those include the tremendously popular PRI Industry Roundtable, as well as promotion, marketing, sales and website development seminars among others. Finally, more than 30 of the 1,000 racing companies exhibiting at the show also provide seminars, many on technical subjects such as camshaft development. Plus, Bobby Rahal, as president of the Road Racing Drivers Club, has organized a Young Driver's Symposium.
The 2010 PRI Trade Show, which will be held Dec. 9-11 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, features more than 1,000 motorsports companies as exhibitors, displaying in 3,000 booths. Nearly 40,000 racing business people from all 50 states, and 65 countries, are expected to attend.
