10. Senior rally fans watch the action from home
What an amazing capture this is. Talk about thinking outside the box. A friendly visit to the nearby neighbors enjoying the Rally Espana. The photographer was probably invited to have a coffee too. Gives us a chuckle.
9. Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes AMG F1 visor detail
This captures the theme of the F1 weekend at Circuit of the Americas: RAIN.
8. Dani Pedrosa, Repsol Honda Team
Heat haze is a photographer's worst nightmare. Unless you make it work in your favor.
7. Winner Joey Logano, Team Penske Ford
A controversial win for Joey Logano, finishing the race under yellow, "depriving" Dale Jr. of a win and place in the rest of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
6. Marc Marquez, Repsol Honda Team
Love him or hate him, the boy pushes. Hard.
5. Daniel Ricciardo, Red Bull Racing and Daniil Kvyat, Red Bull Racing dance together
Dancing in the rain during qualifying delays at COTA. That's the spirit!
4. Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila, Volkswagen Polo WRC, Volkswagen Motorsport
That moment when it's not about the car or the drivers, but the scenery.
3. Daniil Kvyat, Red Bull Racing
One of the nicer frames of Austin weather during the F1 weekend. A different spin on that "COTA tower" shot that's honestly getting really really old.
2. Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes AMG F1 Team
There are lots of Hamilton celebration photos from this past weekend's US GP. Some are "technically" better. But what we like about this moment is how it shows just what a total clusterf•ck these celebrations actually are. It's so very difficult to do your job as a photographer in these situations. Look at that mess...
