- Richard Petty drives his final NASCAR Winston Cup race, the Hooters 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway (1992).

November 19 - George Eyston drove the Thunderbolt at Bonneville to a new LSR of 312.00 mph/499.20 kph (1937).

November 20 - Stirling Moss, in a Lotus 18, wins the USGP, at Riverside, California, the final race of the 2.5-liter F1 (1960).

- Jimmy Vasser born in Canoga Park, California (1965).

November 22 - Stan Fox wins the last race ever held at the legendary Ascot, California, dirt track (1990).
