RCCA to Hold Inaugural Event at Mid-Ohio

(Wash. DC) The Rotary Car Club of America Inc., a new club picking up on the heels of the Rx-7 Club of America, will be holding it's first track event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio on May 12-13, 1997. Known as the "Most Competitive in the U.S.", Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a 2.4-mile, 15-turn or 2.25-mile, 13-turn permanent road course. Registration is limited to 80 drivers. Instructors will be on hand to teach the "line" and high speed driving technique. Industry representatives from ASP Racing, Forgeline Wheels and Peter Farrell Supercars are tentatively scheduled to be on hand for the event. Registration is $350 until April 1, 1997 thereafter $400.
