OMP Racing
OMP Racing distributors from 20 different Countries gathered in Miami for the unveiling of the 2015 collection. The presentation took place at Iron Side Miami, a reclaimed light industrial area turned into a hip architectural space.
Engineered in Italy and crafted by artisans, the 2015 lines are a combination of design and functionality with safety always at the forefront of each development. OMP presented pioneering developments, which decrease weight and increase comfort/safety. Among the many new introductions OMP unveiled the new One Evo line (suit, gloves and shoes) along with the One Evo R shoe that replaced traditional shoelaces with toggle style laces like the bicyclists use.
Another OMP novelty is the fiberglass version of the popular HRC seat that can also mount the new lower side mounts. All novelties will be available in January through OMP’s trusted retailers.
Passion of athletes
The passion of OMP’s athletes has always been a motivation to engineer and manufacture racing gear at the best technology available, and it shows. In 2014, with our drivers, OMP won the most important races and titles: Daytona 24 hours, Indianapolis 500, Le Mans, Indy Car, Indy Lights, Pro-Mazda, IMSA, Pirelli World Challenge and WRC titles just to name a few. During the highly anticipated Motorsport Party, OMP recognized Christian Fittipaldi/Joao Barbosa, Gabby Chaves, Spencer Pigot, Lawson Aschenbach, Austin Cindric, Ricky Taylor, Jordan Taylor and Max Angelelli for their respective on track achievements.
The party concluded at the wee hours thanks to great music, food, drinks, friendly OMP hostesses and a photo exhibit representing OMP drivers from different eras.
