N.TECHNOLOGY UNVEILS TECHNICAL STAFF AND SPECIFICATION FOR PORSCHE PANAMERA S RACECAR
Following the announcement that N.Technology is to renew its long tradition of race engineering production with the Porsche Panamera S, the company, led by Mauro Sipsz, has appointed staff who previously contributed to its numerous international successes.
The technical direction of the program has been assigned to Eng. Andrea Adamo, the former Technical Director of Abarth and N. Technology. Adamo is recognised as the brain behind all winning N.Technology cars, such as the Alfa Romeo 156 Super 2000, the Fiat Punto Rally Super 2000 and the Ferrari 575 GTC. He will lead all technical choices and aerodynamic developments for the Porsche Panamera S racecar as well as direct the project's staff.
Two technical partners have also been appointed. LM Gianetti, a leader in providing specialised parts to teams within the World Rally and Formula 1 World Championships, and Eng. Giovanni Delfino and Edo Riboldi who will manage the preparation and development of the engines.
The technical specification for the Porsche Panamera S racecar has also been unveiled (see below), with the rear-wheeled car set to run on a 4.8-litre V8 Porsche engine, outputting 450 brake horsepower.
The Porsche Panamera S project combines tradition and technical innovation, mixing the professionalism and competence of a successful team able to win in the most important international competitions, with the enthusiasm to work on the design and development of a model from a brand as prestigious as Porsche.
Mauro Sipsz, N.Technology
"We are facing this new adventure, featuring the Porsche Panamera S, with enthusiasm and determination. This is not just a technical challenge but a great honour. We aim to reaffirm N.Technology's status as an engineering firm able to design, build and develop winning cars in various championships. We have therefore entrusted this project to partners of the highest standards, who have all been able to contribute valuably to our programmes in the past. We want to make the most of the technical excellence provided by the base that is the Porsche Panamera S."
Eng. Andrea Adamo, N.Technology
"The Porsche Panamera S features sophisticated body lines achieved through efficient aerodynamics with a low CX. Our staff is already working on its profile in order to optimise the flow and distribution of the downforce both on the front and rear of the car. Specific activity will also be carried out on the front and rear width to enable the installation of racing tires and the best use of the suspension. N.Technology's design department will manage the design of the rollcage and its homologation, whilst the power and torque values of the V8 Porsche engine will be optimised at different revs."
