AUSSIES READY AFTER MUDDY WARM-UP

Australian Daniel Reardon enjoyed taking to the track today for the Motocross of Nations warm up, however he did make mention of the tough conditions that the rain overnight has brought.

Reardon was forced to ride in the worst of yesterday's conditions, and despite the track drying out yesterday, the overnight downpour has made it fairly muddy to ride on.

"It's pretty wet, it got a fair bit of rain last night -- the track's pretty much bogged and you've just got to hold it up on two wheels I suppose," Reardon said.

"Us Aussies are used to riding a track that doesn't get this wet, and just the way that the ruts are forming is different as well, so it is going to be tough out there."

Reardon is still hopeful that the track will dry out, and says that the Aussie team will give nothing short of their best come race time.

"The track is going to get better and the sun's going to come out, so it will be good," he said.

"But we are going to give it our best and just see where we end up."

All three Aussies finished around mid-pack for the warm-up with Brett Metcalfe coming in 15th, Daniel Reardon finishing 16th and Cheyne Boyd ending in 19th, of the 30 riders out in action.

The first race will begin at 1:08pm local time.
