Right behind came Steve Earle and Jim Kenton. An accident occured at the first corner after the start, but only one car was too badly damaged to continue the race. Also competing were five competitors from Venezuela out of a total of 29 runners. When the race was run, the Sporting Director fo Scuderia Ferrari-Marlboro presented the three prizes on the podium. For Papadopoulos, this was his second consecutive win on the Gilles Villeneuve circuit, having won here last year and it was also his fourth win from the five held this season. In the overall classification he has 625 points, 20 more than Earle and 75 more than Kenton. Next outing for the Ferrari Challenge is on 27th June at Lime Rock, Connecticut.
