LAS VEGAS - Friday and Saturday Mar. 16 and 17 mark the return of The Nevada Dodge Extreme Monster Truck Nationals presented by Carl's Jr. to the half-mile dirt track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Extreme side-by-side Monster Truck racing on a huge s-shaped course will happen both Friday and Saturday nights on the dirt track at LVMS. The Monster Truck roster includes the likes of 10-time world champion Bigfoot, driven by Eric Tack; Bear Foot, Monster Patrol, Samson, Dragon Slayer, Misbehavin', Maniac, Jurassic Attack, CSK Bounty Hunter and CSK Scarlet Bandit. There will be autograph sessions following each performance.

Thunder Trucks will also take part in the event. Thunder Trucks are modified street trucks that race side-by-side over dirt jumps and obstacles.

"We're excited to have such a high-profile show with a wide variety of entertainment at the dirt track," said Kirk Barkhimer, dirt oval and motorcross manager at LVMS. "The trucks always put on a great show for everyone and it's great to have them back here in Vegas."

Megasaurus, a three-story, fire breathing, robotic dinosaur will also enthrall fans by destroying cars with its mechanized jaws.

The evening also will include a no-heat one-time demolition derby with the last car running crowned as the winner.

The title sponsorship by Carl's Jr. also includes "Carl's Jr. Family Night" on Friday, Mar. 16. Coupons for half-price kid's admission are available at select Carl's Jr. locations in town. Children using coupons must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are $17 adult advance purchase, $20 adult day-of-purchase, $10 kids/senior/military advance purchase, and $12 kids/senior/military day-of-purchase. Tickets also are available at the LVMS ticket office, all Mail Boxes Etc. and Mr. Bill's locations, or online at tickets.com.
