Philip Ma, who did not take part in rounds 1 and 2, was second with a time of 1:52.685 in another Honda Civic Type R. In fact the Civic has proved to be the car to have this weekend with Rolly Sham's sample taking third place on the grid.

The fastest of the Honda Integra Type Rs was the one driven by Benjamin Chan. Although he was 1.142 seconds behind Paul. One of the pre-race favourites, round 2 winner Kenneth Look, could only manage a 1:53.521 and 5th place on the grid.
