The Hockenheim GP track was the theatre for the last race of the 2000 German Championship. Prema boys qualifying places were a little bit of a deception for Philip Cloostermans 11/7 and 31/11 for Enrico Toccacelo.

Toccacelo went out on the first qualifying lap trying to avoid a concurrent spun in front of him, this fact has negative conditioned his week end.

But the half dry half wet conditions contributed to settle the positions on races. Nevertheless a determinated Philip succeeded to score points on the first race, finishing at a final 9 row the after a long battle with KMS 's Tomczyck. Toccacelo was less lucky with a 28th final place.

On the second race, Prema tried a coupbeing the only front row cars to settle on rain tyres, the track was still wet but it was not sufficient. Cloostermans succeeded a brilliant start then was force to withdraw due to the fact the track was coming completely dry. Toccacelo was blocked on the same booby trap and both scored a finish 13th and 15th final place.

The Belgian ace declared: " It is the same end as the entire season for me, a very frustrating season where I had to learn tracks and the F3 atmosphere. I learned and suffered really bad times but everyone in the paddock kept saying to me that I have to stay confident because they know I was fast for a rookie. I will know try to settle my budget to stay in F3 next year in a very good team."

Enrico also was middle mood: " The German Championship is tough, very tough and I must admit I had ups and down all the season, we had a bad start at the beginning of the season when we found problems in my chassis. I finish this championship at a 7th place and I'm sure it could have been better. But I had podiums, poles and a win. So everybody have seen my pace. I look forward for my racing future but nothing is fixed for the moment.
