Estoril hosts Volvo's ETCC season finale.

The European Touring Car Championship roadshow moves to the (hopefully) sunny Estoril circuit in Portugal, situated just 32 km from the historic city of Lisbon. Having finished in the points 15 times in the last 18 races, Rickard Rydell and James Hanson arrive for their last chance this season to increase the points tally for Volvo in their debut year with the ETCC S60.

Quotes:

Rickard Rydell:
"I don't think that we have as good a chance as at Donington. The circuit doesn't suit us as well. Having said that we hope to have made some improvements so you never know what might happen. Being realistic I would be happy with a podium finish to round off the season."

James Hanson:
"Achievement wise I've had three points finishes but it would be good to score a few more at the last round. I've learnt more this year with Prodrive than any other in my racing career; things like helping develop the car and working with my engineer on analysis of data to get the best the car and resources available over a weekend. It's been a great opportunity and I think we should be able to put on a good show at Estoril."

Dave Benbow, race team manager:
"I have had reservations about some of the driving standards this year which has led to unnecessary retirements and loss of points for some teams and drivers, ourselves included. This does nothing for the sport or manufacturers who pay a lot of money to compete or the fans who want to see good racing. My hopes for Estoril include more points for Volvo and some exciting clean action."
