Second win of the day for Tarquini and Honda
Moreno Soli and Sergio Sambataro, who both retired in the first race, started from the pit-lane, their teams having removed the cars from parc fermé for repairs. GDL Racing worked on the bodywork of Soli's BMW, damaged in a collision with Pigolì, while the Racing Box mechanics changed the gearbox on Sambataro's Audi.

Lehtonen Motorsport driver Mikko Lempinen is the pole sitter on the reverse grid with Nicola Larini by his side.

Start– Larini was fastest and took the lead from Lempinen.

Lap 1– There is a tough fight at the first corner which results in Symanzick being pushed into the gravel. The multi-car collision has a domino effect: Bernardoni pushes Sardelli's Nissan into Pigoli's Audi, hitting Colciago’s AGS Motorsport Audi. Cayrolle passes Lempinen for second. Top-10: 2 - 16 - 19 - 1 - 30 - 4 - 18 - 20 - 5 - 3

Lap 2– After the first corner accident, Sardelli spins with a blown left rear tyre, while Colciago and Pigoli retire with broken suspensions. Giovanardi and Tarquini overtake Cayrolle, moving into second and third places. Top-10: 2 - 1 - 4 - 16 - 19 - 30 - 5 - 20 - 15 - 3

Lap 3– Cayrolle is awarded a stop and go penalty for jumping the start. Larini has a 7.4 seconds lead over Tarquini, who has passed Giovanardi. Top-10: 2 - 4 - 1 - 16 - 5 - 20 - 19 - 30 - 15 - 3

Lap 5– Bernardoni, in tenth position, receives a stop and go penalty, also for a false start. Valli overtakes Lempinen for seventh. Top-10: 2 - 4 - 1 - 16 - 5 - 20 - 30 - 19 - 15 - 3

Lap 6– Walfisch overtakes Cayrolle for fourth place. Lempinen loses two positions to Zadra and Bernardoni. Top-10: 2 - 4 - 1 - 5 - 16 - 20 - 30 - 15 - 3 - 19

Lap 7– Tarquini is closing the gap to the leader. Larini laps Sambataro, and there is contact between the two cars. Larini goes wide and loses the lead to Tarquini. Top-10: 4 - 2 - 1 - 5 - 16 - 20 - 30 - 15 - 3 - 19

Lap 8– Sambataro retires with engine problems. Cayrolle drops from fifth to tenth after paying his penalty. Top-10: 4 - 2 - 1 - 5 - 20 - 30 - 15 - 3 - 19 - 16

Lap 9– Bernadoni observes her stop and go and slips down from eighth to 13th. Top-10: 4 - 2 - 1 - 5 - 20 - 30 - 15 - 19 - 16 - 14

Lap 11– Cayrolle overtakes Lempinen and closes on Zadra and Valli who are fighting for sixth. Top-10: 4 - 2 - 1 - 5 - 20 - 30 - 15 - 16 - 19 - 14

Lap 12– Tarquini claims his second win of the day, his sixth of the season, from Larini, Giovanardi and Walfisch. De Lorenzi repeats his Race 1 result, finishing fifth overall and first in the Amateurs Trophy. Cayrolle overtakes Valli and Zadra to obtain sixth position, but the stewards award him a 30-second penalty for driving at 83 km/h in the pit lane when coming in for his stop and go penalty. The Frenchman is therefore classified 12th. His team mate Zadra inherits sixth position overall and the second in the Amateurs Trophy. Top-10: 4 - 2 - 1 - 5 - 20 - 15 - 30 - 19 - 14 - 9
