Nevers Magny-Cours circuit motorway extension ready for official inauguration
Work on the motorway linking Paris to the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit has now been completed.
The Nevers South-Magny-Cours/Moiry section, upon which work began in 2008, opened to users on the 18 January. It will now be officially inaugurated by the premier of the Burgundy region, the head of the Nievre district and the President of the General Council of Nievre, as well as local personalities, on Friday 4 February at 11h30.
As part of the event, Magny-Cours has organised a parade from the motorway to the track which will include a Formula 1 car, classic machines from the Nevers ANAVA association and an electric car from the Exagon company.
This news is sure to delight the 400,000 plus visitors who attend the circuit each year. Exit No.38 will take them directly to the heart of the Technopole and on to the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit.
