Changan Ford racing team: In good shape for the CTCC debut

April 9th, 2010. All CTCC teams finished the final touch to the cars before the weekend. The weather had been unsettled since Tuesday at Song Jiang district and the temperature dropped to 10 degrees. Comparing with the laptimes at this circuit from 2009, seemed the lower temperature brought better results.

Based on the sufficient data resource gained and race experience at STC, Changan Ford racing team confirmed the set-up solution for the weekend. The lead driver Rainey He found his set-up after Friday practice; Martin Cao, the pole-sitter at this circuit in 2009 CTCC race, proved again his remarkable speed; Andy Yan, the winner of 2009 CTCC at STC track, further developed his already outstanding stability and capability; Tengyi Jiang shown good consistence throughout these days and is so ready for his home round.

The 2010 CTCC debut race looks very likely to be a wet one and rain tyres were chosen for Friday's practice. John Ling, the team manager of Changan Ford racing team said:"wet-race will be a challenge to all the teams, but being fully prepared as we are, I feel very confident for the team to get off to a brilliant start in 2010."
