For more information on this and other short tracks, try out ftp://ftp.netcom.com/pub/ar/argarg/home.html

SPORTSMAN: A lighter/smaller version of the Winston West Car (lighter than the regular Winston Cup car). The body style is typically Lumina, Trans AM, Cutlass, or Camaro. Gaoline burning, apx 351cid max.

G.A. Modifieds: CSCRA Grand American Modifieds, max 350cid alchohol/gas burning, open wheeled, open cockpit, a sprint car on steroids.

Street: CSCRA Street Stocks, Chevelle, Nova, Tbird body styles, typically 1970s vintage but also on steroids.

Pony: CSCRA Pony Stocks: Pintos, Mustang, Monza, 4 cylinder American cars, the slowest of the bunch, but the most active (and some say brutal) class.

Bomber: CSCRA Bomber Stocks, where street stocks go to die; bang-em-up racing at its best.

Super Modifieds: Take a G.A. Mod, double the horsepower, add a rear wing, and let it run at close to indycar(tm) speeds, and you have a super mod. These are FAST!!

Legend: A spec series, only showing up once this season. The best description is "fast clown cars"

USAC Sprints: Your basic sprint car, fast, open, dangerous.

Train Races: Hook up your dad's 1970's station wagon (with the 460 therm. engine) to a pinto, and add another pinto to that one. Put one driver in the front with a throttle and no brakes, put a driver in the rear with brakes and no throttle. Put them on a figure 8 course. See the fun (or carnage, as the case may be).
