SANTERRE WAVES CHECKERED FLAG ON "TOYS FOR JOY" DRIVE AT NHIS

(LOUDON, NH - December 8, 1999) - NASCAR Busch Series driver Andy Santerre will be meeting fans and signing autographs at New Hampshire International Speedway to help wrap up the second annual "Toys for Joy" drive. Santerre, who scored his first career NASCAR Busch Series victory in July at Pikes Peak, will be on hand from 11 am until 2 pm on Saturday, December 18.

Andy is planning to run an aggressive schedule at NHIS in 2000. He will be competing in the May 13 Busch Series 200 driving the No. 25 Lance Snacks Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Team Rensi Motorsports. The popular driver from Cherryfield, Maine also plans to run three Busch North Series events driving his own No. 44 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and is looking to enter the July 8 New Hampshire 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at "The Magic Mile".

"I hope that all the great NASCAR fans will stop by NHIS to donate a new unwrapped toy or article of clothing to the "Toys for Joy" campaign and help out this worthy cause," said Santerre. Fans that drop off a gift or article of clothing will receive a commemorative Speedway hat. The Speedway, along with the Salvation Army, anticipates that this year's "Toys for Joy" campaign will be the most successful to date.

Speedway guests are eligible to enter several holiday drawings being held at NHIS. Among the items to be given away are a snow blower furnished by Husqvarna, a Sony satellite television dish and two pairs of skis courtesy of Mountain Dew. No purchase is required to enter these drawings.

Gift donations can be made at the Speedway during regular business hours through December 19. The Starting Line Souvenir Store will be open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
