Mark Burdett Motorsport are pleased to announce that Malcolm Pullen (Puddy) has joined the team as race engineer for the Formula Renault UK Championship team.

Team Principal Mark Burdett is delighted to have Puddy is joining the team, commenting "Puddy joining the team is a great step forward for the whole team, Puddy brings the engineering expertise and experience we need to drive the team forwards and back onto the top step of the podium."

In addition to Puddy joining the team, the BRDC Stars of Tomorrow karting championship scholarship award winners Craig Copeland and Tom Arme will be competing in the BARC Formula Renault Championship with Mark Burdett Motorsport in 2006.

Craig and Tom have both been champions in the BRDC Stars of Tomorrow Championship in the past two years. Craig won the Junior Rotax championship and his scholarship in 2004 and opted to put it on hold for a year as he was to young to start the season in 2005. Tom won the 2005 Junior Rotax Championship and won his scholarship following an assessment day at Silverstone against 5 other competitors from the championship.

The BRDC funded scholarships are the most prestigious prizes in kart racing in the UK, giving two young drivers the opportunity they otherwise may not have had to progress in motor racing.

The BRDC Stars of Tomorrow liveried car will be on display on the BRDC Stars of Tomorrow stand (K310) at the Autosport International from 12-15 January.
