Formula Renault race winner Keith Dempsey will stay with his father's team, Cliff Dempsey Racing  for the 2002 British Formula Renault Championship. With backing from KTK Sand and Gravel, Celtic Utilities, Irish Ferries, Richmond Recruitment, Snap-On Tools, Ashbourne Service Station and Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey the 18 year old Irish driver is looking forward to this year's championship.

Having missed the first five rounds in 2001 Keith still managed to finish 8th in the championship only 4 points away from 5th place.Keith said " It is great to have everything in place at this early stage and I have to say a big thank you to all my sponsors especially KTK Sand and Gravel. I am really looking forward to this season,  last year was my learning year and we changed from the European Championship to the British mid way through but now I can concentrate on one Championship".

Keith  was one of only 5 drivers who won a race in the British Championship in 2001 and should be a strong contender for this season having had some fantastic results during 2001.
