ADRIAN QUAIFE-HOBBS TEAMS UP WITH ARAI

Rising British racer Adrian Quaife-Hobbs has teamed up with Arai for the supply of helmets with which to contest the 2009 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 Championship and North European Cup. Arai is the preferred choice of many of the most promising up and coming drivers and Adrian will sport the new GP5 helmet as he embarks on his second season in the hotly contested series.

"Arai is undoubtedly the number one in the world of motorsport and is the helmet of choice of most of the top drivers," said Adrian. "We all know that safety is critical but comfort is also vital and the GP5 is the most comfortable around while offering the superb protection. It's a privilege to be supported by Arai in this way and I look forward to a long and successful partnership with the company."

The Japanese company supplies helmets to drivers and riders across the board, in Formula One, MotoGP and World Rally Championship as well as offering support to drivers such as Adrian as they bid to move up the motorsport ladder.

Eighteen year-old Adrian, a BRDC Rising Star, impressed in his first full season in Formula Renault and penned a deal with reigning champions Motopark Academy with whom he scored a podium finish first time out in Portugal. The Tonbridge teenager has already completed successful tests in preparation for both championships including Spa-Francorchamps and Nurburgring (NEC) last week and today and tomorrow with two days Eurocup testing at Spa-Francorchamps.
