After the disappointment, the impotence and the injustice felt by José María López with the decision of the authorities of the Italian Formula Renault to give back to Robert Kubica his victory in the second round in Vallelunga and with this stretch the definition of the championship until the last race in Mugello. López confronted the challenge in spite of the suspicius decision.
¨Pechito¨ won a complicate race and with any objection he won the championship with four victories in the season. But the things wasn`t so easy for the Argentinian in the italian track. Because Kubica marked the pole position on saturday and behind in second was ¨Pechito¨ with a Dallara of the Cram Competition.
However the sames nerves that invaded the Argentinian also did it with the Polish and both drivers were passed in the start. With this circumstance, López did`t feel confortable with Kubica inmidiately behind, so he took advantege for a mistake of the leader ahd he psssed to the first position and he never left it until the he became the new champion of the Italian Formula Renault.
Now yes nowbody can put in discussion his desert crown of champion, even take him the illusion of test a Renault of Formula One next month. Now he will study with his people which are the steps to follow in his impeccable career. ¨Pechito¨ ahowed that he has the greatness necessary to compite in any category.
The other argentinian in the Italian Formula Renault, Martín Ponte, also present in this last round of the season, started tenth but differents problems with his car put him in twelfth position.
