José María López is a really great driver. Devoted, talented, worker and quick, very quick. The argentinian is shining in Europe since the season started. In the sixth race of the Italian Formula Renault disputed in Varano, near to Parma, ¨Pechito¨ prevailed one more time in the category.
And not just that. Besides of mark the pole position for the fifth time consecutive, the best lap in the race, he won from the start to the chequered flag and he is leading the championship over Robert Kubica (RC Motorsport) who quit this race.
¨I started well and I made an important difference of almost seven seconds over Perera. I made a tranquil race. I`m very happy not just because I won, because I`m first in the championship. So much the time Cram as Marcelo Rosei and my mechanic Roberto gave me a great machine¨ said López after win another race.
The next challenge of López will be in the Belgian circuit of Spa Francochamps, for the European championship, a place that ¨Pechito¨ knows and considers ¨very difficult where I already run for the Italian championship and I almost won, I finished fourth when I was leadering for over four seconds. This triumph make me keep working hard and think in the next race¨
The other argentinian in the category, Martín Ponte, realized a good race finishing eighth after start eleventh. Ponte finished 20 seconds over the winner. With this result the driver of the BVM Minardi Jr. has 17 points.
¨We did what we could. The car is good, but our team is far away of the budget of the winners teams, and with that finsh eighth over Michel Bartyan (CRAM), Alexio Latanzi (Vergara) anf fight with Robert Kubica is meritorius. We finished behind Davide Di Benedetto (Drumel), Carlos Pereyra (RC Motorsport) and Tony Vilander (RP), fighting with them until the end but I couldn`t advance more¨ said Ponte.
