The Argentinian José María López, driver of the Cram Competition, won from the start to the chequered flag the race disputed on last Sunday on the mythical circuit of Monza appertaining to the sixth race of the Italian Formula Renault championship.

With this result, López is second in the championship with 101 points, while the leader is Robert Kubica with 104, who yesterday finished third.

"I'm very happy with this victory in Monza. I really want to win in the Italian championship. Luckily I had a fantastic car, I started very well and in the first laps I made an important difference. In Spa I had a difference and I made a mistake, so in Monza when was the half of the race disputed I started to regulate the race, keep the difference and wait to the end. I complete a good job and I am close in the championship. We will make a test on Tuesday in Varano and then I will travel to Orchesleben, Germany to compete in the European¨ said López after the podium.

The other Argentinian driver in the Italian Formula Renault, Martín Ponte, finished in nine position after started sixteen.

On July 21th, in the circuit of Varano will be the next race of the Italian Formula Renault.
