Racing Engineering content with performance of Wilson and Montagny!

Today in Valencia took place the first free practice of round 1 of the World Series by Nissan. Racing Engineering's driver Franck Montagny finished the sessions in 3rd and 4th position and Justin Wilson, uniquely working on the setup of the car, finished the test day in position 8. Both Justin and Franck are content with their results and are looking forward to the qualifications tomorrow!

Franck Montagny claimed that it was not at all a bad day for him. In the morning he mainly worked on the setup of his car. In the second training session he tried to mark good lap times, but was unlucky with the signal lights. Each time after leaving the pits, Franck could only finish one timed lap, as the red lights went on again. Franck is very confident concerning the qualifications tomorrow and thinks the car might be even better.

After today's two test sessions Justin Wilson announced that in the morning there were some technical problems with the car that could very quickly be solved. In both sessions Justin has been uniquely working on the setup for tomorrow. He is looking forward to the qualifying, but also states the weather might be an important factor to take into consideration.
