On the renowned Paul Ricard circuit the Italian team enjoyed a very positive day, closing the first Free Practice session in the top 3 with both their cars and then confirming a top-three placement in FP2 with Muller.

In Free Practice 1 the swiss driver confirmed that he's in great shape clocking the 2nd quickest time in 1'48"568, closely followed by his team-mate André Negrao who posted a 1'48"841.

The afternoon Practice saw Draco shine once more with Muller, who closed the session in 3rd place thanks to a 1'48"221. Negrão, in the meantime, didn't manage to improve his morning time and took the flag in P16. Now the team is ready for tomorrow's Qualifying, scheduled at 8.55 AM, and then for the start of Race 1 due to take place at 1.35 PM.

Nico Muller (FP1 - P2; FP2 – P3): “We managed to find a very good base setup very quickly, and that allowed us to post some very quick laptimes this morning already. I'm really confident because the car feels fast and balanced, and I believe that with a couple of tweaks here and there we'll be able to fight for pole position tomorrow. It's important because the fight for 3rd place in the championship is still open, and we want that spot".

Andrè Negrão (FP1 – P3; FP2 - P16): “It was a two-faced day for me. The morning was just fine, I managed to be both quick and consistent and I was really confident looking to FP2 and tomorrow. Then, in the afternoon session, our pace wasn't there anymore and it's hard to understand why as why didn't make any big change on the car. We'll try to learn more tonight, and be back on top form in Qualifying".
