There is a big challenge on the Bilbao streets: in fact, the city-centre has been transformed into a racing circuit for the fifth round of the World Series by Renault championship. The week-end began positively for Draco drivers, who obtained a good result in the first session of free practice: Markus Winkelhock was the fastest man on track and his team-mate Christian Montanari set the second best lap.

Before a large audience that invaded the Bilbao streets to attend this event, today the drivers of the Tuscan Team returned to the track for the qualifying sessions.

The first session was interrupted several times to remove some cars ant to fix a potentially dangerous drain. In the first series, Christian Montanari set the fourth best lap, while Markus Winkelhock qualified in fifth position of his group. Both drivers could not use the second set of new tyres because of the numerous red flags. So, in the first race S.Marino' driver will start from the fourth row, and Winkelhock will line up on fifth row.

German driver improved his performance in the second session of qualifying, recording the third best time - 1'50.519, while Christian Montanari posted the thirteenth quickest time -1'51.861.
