Former Formula One and NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Scott Speed will make his Formula E racing debut in the Miami ePrix.
The American will join Jean-Eric Vergne in the Andretti Formula E team's line-up.
Speed had already driven the electric car during pre-season testing.
He is currently competing for Andretti in the Global Rallycross series.
"It's been so long since I raced an open-wheel car, I feel like I am getting ready for the first day of school," Speed said.
"So much excitement! Having this opportunity with Andretti is amazing.
"It's super cool to be able to race so many different types of cars within the team. I am anxious to get to Miami, and I am up for the challenge."
The ePrix of Miami takes place 14 March.
