The first of two practice sessions for the inaugural Formula E ePrix is complete.
Lucas di Grassi led the way in FP1 for the Auto Sport ABT group in Beijing with a lap of 1:41.937. e.dams driver Sebastien Buemi followed closely behind in second, with Sam Bird rounding out the top three for Virgin Racing.
Nicolas Prost, Karun Chandhok, Jerome d'Ambrosio, Daniel Abt, Franck Montagny, Charles Pic, and Jarno Trulli filled out the rest of the top ten. Katherine Legge was the slowest, driving for Amlin Aguri.
The only major incident of the 45 minute session involved Trulli GP's Michela Cerruti, who suffered a minor crash that saw her damage her rear wing.
