I am also very happy to return to Team China, with whom I have celebrated some great successes in the past. An extra dimension for me, surely, is the inaugurating race taking place in Beijing. I do look forward to give tens of thousands of my Chinese fans an exiting day´.One of Ho-Pin Tung´s most loyal sponsors, Mouser Electronics, will also be his partner in this new fully electronic formula.

Formula E is the FIA’s new fully-electric single-seater championship designed to appeal to a new generation of motorsport fans, whilst accelerating the interest in electric vehicles and promoting sustainability. Racing entirely on temporary city-centre race tracks, it uses cars capable of speeds in excess of 150mph (225kph). The first of ten races takes place in Beijing with the season finale taking place in London on June 27, 2015.
