Aguri to pay tribute to Paris victims in Uruguay

Team Aguri will pay a special tribute to the victims of last month's Paris terrorist attacks in this weekend's Formula E round in Punta del Este.

The third round of the Formula E championship this weekend is the first race since the incidents in Paris occurred.

The team, which has French and Monegasque investors, will run with a specially designed tricolore remembrance ribbon on its cars, incorporating the blue, white and red of the French national flag.

Aguri also has Nathanael Berthon as one of its drivers and the Frenchman was deeply affected by the tragedies last month.

Berthon, a native of Romagnat in central France, tweeted at the time: "Une solidarité qui fait chaud au coeur. Triste pour nos amis et pensées à toutes ces familles.' – A solidarity that is warm in the heart.  Sad for our friends and thoughts to all these families."
