Adam Raga wants to strength his leadership in the 6th FIM Indoor Trial World Championship event
The Palau Sant Jordi will held next Sunday 1 February at 17 hours the XXVII TRIAL INDOOR PAL ARINSAL ORDINO ARCALIS DE BARCELONA, 6th event for the FIM Indoor Trial World Championship. RPM Racing President, Jaime Alguersuari, reminded in a Press Conference that "Barcelona and Catalunya are the capital city of the trial, and after 27 years of organising this event we must be very proud of having three top drivers competing for the Title: Adam Raga, Albert Cabestany and Marc Freixa."
Only the 6 top riders of the FIM Trial Championships are taking part in the race. 21-year old Adam Raga has strengthen his leadership after taking a victory in Marsella (France), and now is 4 points ahead the Brit Doug Lampkin.
Raga is one of the most successful Spanish riders after the retirement of the 7 times world champ Jordi Tarres, his current manager.
Albert Cabestany, Marc Freixa and Takahisha Fujinami alongside Graham Jarvis, will complete the list of participants. Cabestany achieved a podium position in Marsella, while Takahisha Fujinami clearly had a serious option for the win in France, but he failed to complete a good Play Off.
The track will present 14 sections, designed by Francesc Tarres. It will be very selective circuit, with two races and one high jump. Three areas, the cascade, the race and the Montesa Honda sections, will be placed in the tribunes. "Every day is getting more complicated to design the sections, the bikes are lighter so we have to make it harder for the riders."
Top bike stars in the box for distinguished persons
The XXVII Trial Indoor Pal Arinsal-Ordino Arcalís of Barcelona will gather an important number of top riders that will be awarded with the Trophy "Piloto del año AS-SOLO MOTO" in a ceremony that will take place with the event. The Dakar winner Nani Roma, the current 125 cc World Motorcycling Champion, Daniel Pedrosa, runner-up MotoGP rider Sete Gibernau, Enduro World Vice-Champion, Iván Cervantes, will be amongst the honoured riders.
